Pretty Inspiration: Spellbinders Large Die of the Month
Hello, hello! I have a cute card for you today featuring the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month. The lovely people there asked to send me out a care package, and of course, I gladly accepted! 🙂
Have you seen this die set yet? It is the cutest bicycle! Not only can you use it on cards and scrapbook layouts, but it also makes a pretty snazzy 3D project too.
The Spellbinders Large Die of the Month kit has a couple of woven embossing dies as part of the basket. There’s also flower and stem dies to fill it up. I used the smaller textured die to create a basket for the front of the bicycle instead. There’s no die for this shape, though. I looked up bike baskets on Pinterest, then fussy-cut it as best I could!
Then, I filled it up with pretty flowers! To make them look like they were blowing out of the basket on the breeze, I folded some in half. I tacked them down with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive, and added a few adhesive gems for good measure, too.
To make the sentiment, I used the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month. Y’all, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try out this set. I ALWAYS need more sentiments! It looks more like gold in the pic below, but it’s just the angle. I used Silver Foil and the Glimmer Hot Foil System and it came out just perfect. I’m obsessed.
Along with the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month kit, all the other supplies are listed below for when you’d like to snag you some new goodies! I added in the embossing folder (retired, but you can find some lovely wind-like swirl folders at Scrapbook.com) and the rainbow of paper colors I used today.
Find and follow me on Instagram; I’d love to see your creations too!
PS – Here’s another card I did with a previous Die of the Month club kit!
