March 2019 Merry Little Christmas Challenge
Hey! Welcome back! Today I’m sharing my inspiration card for the March 2019 Merry Little Christmas Challenge. The theme is “anything goes”, and that worked out perfect – I have a jar of Ranger Embossing Powder in Sage that I was dying to try.
This is a pretty easy card to put together, and you can use the same method to make a card for any occasion.
I cut out my card panels from white cardstock with Deckle Edge Dies from Honey Bee Stamps and dipped the edges in Versamark. Then I heat embossed them with the Sage embossing powder. It’s kinda like a reverse frost, don’t you think?
Next, I used the Rejoice stamp set (also from Honey Bee Stamps) to stamp the sentiment on the square panel with Versamark. Again, I heat embossed with the Sage embossing powder. Then, I added a few dabs of color to the design with Clean Color Brush Pens. I love that the points are so fine – I could get right in the tiny spaces!
I layered the pieces together with foam adhesive for dimension and mounted everything on an A2 card front. And to finish off, I added a few drops of Glossy Accents around the floral spray.
Thanks for stopping in to see my card for the March 2019 Merry Little Christmas Challenge! Happy crafting!
