Today I have a patterned paper card to share with you, and I’m using the Joyful Song Stamp Set from The Project Bin for my sentiment.
First, I trimmed down the Woodgrain Embossed Cardstock to fit on my A2 card base, then die cut the red patterned paper with the Stitched Rectangles Die.
Next, I cut the music patterned paper to fit on top of the red, and die cut the window using the Stitched Arch Die. The inside of the window looked a little bland, so with the help of a Sizzix Texturs embossing sandwich, I pressed a stitched pattern into the red paper without cutting through.
Then, I heat embossed my sentiment with White Embossing Powder and Tonic Nuvo Clear Mark.
The music patterned paper had a poinsettia image on opposite corners, and since I used one corner for my card already, I decided to fussy cut the other poinsettia and add it to my design next to a bow of jute twine.
To put all the pieces together, I layered the music paper on top of the red, then the red on top of the woodgrain. Using a few strips of Foam Tape, I adhered the panel to my card base.
As a finishing touch, I added sparkle and shine with some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Red Berry and Golden Sunset, and Glitter Accents in Fresh Snowfall.
