Autumn Themed Emboss Resist With Distress Inks
Hey! How is your weekend going so far? I’m enjoying the chillier weather here in San Antonio, it’s almost like an actual season change. It put me in the mood to do some more leafy projects like this autumn themed emboss resist. Does cooler weather do that to you, too?
Today I have a card that features the lovely leaves from a stamp set in the October box from The Hedgehog Hollow. I wanted the leaves to stand out on the background, so I thought an emboss resist design would make them really pop.
For the sentiment layer, I used the same technique to make everything match and added a piece of hemp cord behind the sentiment for a bit of texture. Speaking of texture, don’t you love how you can see the fibers of the paper through the Distress Inks?
