Papertrey July Blog Hop Challenge
Hey! I thought I’d join in with the Papertrey July Blog Hop Challenge this month with a multilayer flat card. The inspiration photo is simple and beautiful with lots of white space, and blue and gold hues.
It makes me wish I hadn’t tossed all my seam binding a few years back – I would have used it on my card today. But that’s alright; I went with the color cue and minimal stamping.
To make the card, I cut and stacked the layers on the card front except for the piece that I wanted to stamp on. I used the Garden Party stamp set for the images and heat embossed the sentiment and parts of the branches with Ranger Princess Gold embossing powder.
To finish up, I added the stamped panel over the blue cardstock.
Happy hopping!
So pretty especially with the metallic accents
Such a beautiful card! I love the branches embossed in gold to go with the sentiment. Very, very pretty!
